THE CLASSIC STORY

Classic Exports was incorporated in the year 1991 and was founded by Harsukh Dhirajlal Doshi. Classic Exports has been recognised as “The Export House” by the Ministry of Commerce and government of India. We were the sole selling agents for Reliance Industries in Srilanka for textiles division. Classic Exports core business was textiles and later on they started to diversify into different industry. Apart from textiles we started to Export & Import home appliances products, household consumer products, cosmetic products, hair trimmer & clipper products, automobile spare parts products, engineering products, chemical products, toys & balloons, gloves for automobile industry, fmcg products, agriculture products, chemicals, toy & ballon products, pharmaceutical products, spices products, foot wear products.

Classic Exports is exporting to most of the top Retail Chain Departmental Stores in Srilanka. Our leading overseas markets are Srilanka, Malaysia, United States of America, Dubai, Indonesia, Singapore,Malaysia etc. Turnover of the company is about 4million USD. The company’s total employee strength stood at 55 directly and indirectly. Apart from exports the company has also invested in to few commercial properties in India which has been leased out to the corporate companies.

Harsukh Dhirajlal Doshi has been dealing in textiles for the past 51 years. Had owned a dyeing and printing factory in Jetpur, Gujarat and is having sound technical knowledge of every aspect of fabric manufacturing.

Apart from textiles under the leadership of Nishant Doshi we started to Export & Import home appliances products, household consumer products, cosmetic products, hair trimmer & clipper products, automobile spare parts products, engineering products, chemical products, toys & balloons,gloves for automobile industry, Fmcg products, agriculture products, chemicals,toy & balloon products, pharmaceutical products, spices products, foot wear products

MANAGING PARTNER

Nishant Harsukh Doshi is a graduate from Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.He has been dealing in textiles for the past 23 years. Used to live in United States and used to Import textiles into the United States and distribute it to the wholesalers and retailers. Apart from textiles we had diversified our business in to hospitality business. We had invested $ in to Hotel Business which was under the brand name of Howard Johnson’s Inn containing of 100 rooms which was located in Lexington, Virginia,United States. Under the Leadership of Nishant Doshi had received the Gold Medal Property award. In the year 2010 Nishant Doshi came back from United States to India to handle the family business(Import Export Business).

Business Strategy & Future Plans

Foreign companies and investors who are looking in to venturing in to the Indian market, we are ready to join hands along with the foreign company for a joint venture deal.

We are also planning to manufacture toys and balloons .Currently we do have a big distribution network within India to sell toys and balloons .We will be able to sell about 10 Million USD Made in India ballons and toys with the current distribution channel which we have .Imports account for almost 85 per cent of the total toys’ demand in the country and only the remaining 15 per cent of the sale is met by the domestic manufacturers, according to the industry.As much as 75 per cent of the total imports are from China.In the last year’s Budget, the import duty was hiked to 20 per cent from 10 per cent but we did not pass it on and absorbed it. However, this year, it has been increased to 60 per cent, which is three times or 200 per cent more of the existing import duty on toys. We are looking for foreign companies and investors to join hands along with us for a joint venture deal.
